Refreshing mate tea with a touch of orange

Our orange, natural tea is a delicious and refreshing mate tea with a fruity orange touch. The raw materials for this tea are conventional and are processed in our Gräfenhof Tea Manufactory in northern Germany. Mate tea is obtained from the dried leaves of the mate bush, which are widespread mainly in South America. The use of mate tea has a long tradition and is often referred to there as a national beverage. The effects of mate tea are versatile and appreciated by many people due to its stimulating yet calming effect.

Healthy ingredients for an invigorating effect

The orange peel, which is contained to 23%, gives the tea a fresh and fruity note. Oranges are known for their high concentration of vitamin C and antioxidants, which can also have a positive effect on our health. In addition, ginger and spearmint leaves provide a light spiciness and a refreshing note. Licorice root rounds off the taste and provides a pleasant sweetness. It is often used in traditional Chinese medicine, as it is believed to have anti-inflammatory and expectorant effects. The natural orange tea is flavoured and contains caffeine in addition to vitamins and antioxidants. However, this caffeine is milder compared to coffee and black tea and can therefore be consumed by more sensitive individuals.
