This recipe dates back to the 19th century and was named after Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey. Legend has it that the recipe came from a Chinese Mandarin who offered it to the Earl as a thank you for saving his son from a tiger. What distinguishes the taste of the Earl Grey Special Tea is the unique combination of bergamot cream flavor and the various black tea varieties; this will delight your palate. The addition of cornflower and calendula blossoms complements the appearance of this tea, makes it an extraordinarily decorative highlight and gives the taste a gentle touch.
