Our China Pu Erh BIO tea is a unique and traditional black tea with a special history and effect. It comes from the Chinese region of Yunnan and is treated through a special fermentation process to develop unique flavors and taste notes. This tea is also known as Pu'er or Pu-erh and has a long tradition as a traditional medicinal remedy. Today, tea lovers around the world appreciate it for its unique taste and health benefits. After harvesting, the tea leaves are specially treated to encourage fermentation. They are then stored in specialized cellars with natural humidity and temperature for several months or years to develop unique flavors and taste notes. The accompanying leaf of China Pu Erh TEA is strong and earthy in nature, but mostly odorless. The cup has a bright red-brown color. The taste is strong, spicy and round. If you steep the tea multiple times, it becomes milder but still aromatic.
