The history of China Milky Oolongs

The story of China Milky Oolong dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD). According to reports, a careless farmer discovered a tea plantation which he left unattended for years. When he finally returned, the leaves were already covered in a white layer. This layer was formed by the mist that swept over the plantation every morning, giving the tea leaves an incomparably sweet taste. Since then, the tea has been prized as a special delicacy in China.

Our China Milky Oolong tea is an exceptional tea made from the finest tea leaves in China. The tea belongs to the category of Oolong teas and is known for its mild, floral taste. Due to its special aroma and relatively low caffeine content, the tea has a pleasant calming effect on the body and mind. Our China Milky Oolong tea is made from conventional raw materials and packaged in our Gräfenhof tea factory in northern Germany. We use exclusively hand-picked tea leaves that grow in China under optimal climatic conditions. The leaves are gently processed and rolled after picking to preserve their incomparably mild aroma.

How should the China Milky Oolong tea be brewed?

The China Milky Oolong tea should be brewed at a water temperature of about 90 degrees and can be infused two to three times. The recommended steeping time is about three minutes for the first infusion and then about one minute for the following infusions.
