High-quality White Tea from China
The China Pai Mu Tan Cut is a high-quality white tea from the Chinese province of Fujian. The name "Pai Mu Tan" translates to "White Peony", already hinting at the floral and mild aromas of this tea. Pai Mu Tan is handpicked and gently processed in China. Only the youngest shoots and buds are used. The harvest is laborious, as only a short harvest period is available each year. Through gentle air drying, the tea retains its mild, floral taste. In this case, it is a 5-10mm cut variant of the tea. This allows it to be wonderfully processed further, for example, into tea or pyramid bags. This makes the tea easier for customers to use.
The Golden Elixir of the White Peony
During the harvest, two leaves and one bud per shoot are carefully picked. The leaves are then gently dried, usually in the sun. This elaborate handwork and the short harvest time each year make Pai Mu Tan a high-quality tea. It has the highest possible quality level. Pai Mu Tan has a sweet, floral aroma with a light spice. The light infusion is yellow-golden in color. Thanks to the gentle drying, the tea retains many valuable ingredients. The China Pai Mu Tan Cut is a high-quality white tea with a mild, aromatic taste.
